They messed up with the Niji branch merge.
That was the one chance they had to cut off the excess fat and only bring in the talented/unpolished diamond types. It would've hit them PR wise but they were the biggest company at the time, so it wouldn't have mattered.
They decided to keep all of them. And now they can't really undo that decision without getting into a PR catastrophe.

Their views are actually plateauing and stabilizing now for the past week. We've been using Vox as the Luxiem metric and even with supposed buff content he hasn't been reaching numbers close to his hand reveal stream yet. Luxiem is still growing but their slowing down now to a normal pace.

CCV/VoD views have never been significant to their income. Streams don't get the same ad rev as produced videos.

Ollie's issue is that she overexposed herself while trying to appeal to normies before properly setting up her base. Her initial appeal was being that loud and annoying younger sister that you wanted to both headpat and strangle at the same time. Shit started going south the moment that she tried to set up shop outside the box ("wanting to break the rules", collabing with practically everyone under the sun which led to her getting pumped and dumped by some shady people). The worst part is that I honestly don't think Ollie is doing it cynically to appeal to normies or anything, she definitely has an idealistic breaking barriers thing going but for the most part she seems to genuinely approach those outside the box to have fun and become a big happy kumbaya family together. As you said, reality isn't so kind and she has to learn it the hard way. She seems to has wisened up to that but the damage is kinda already done. She still hit 1M sub though which really is no easy feat, and can still put some good numbers (for an ID) when she did some special streams like the mom stream the other day (deserved, her mom is fantastic).

I'm not agreeing with the rimjob schizo, it's not really going to majorly impact him. Just saying that from a business perspective the financial cost of setting up a project like this is really negligible compared to time and effort that would be spent by management, production etc setting everything up. That could otherwise be deployed on other projects with better returns, and that is your opportunity cost.
Same reason why movies that break even (including marketing budgets etc) are still disasters to the studio.

You're saying as if all of Luxiem has high CCV constantly, but they fluctuate a lot depending on content. Even Luca's RFA yesterday never did reach 10k, and only pass it since he made it a 400k endurance a few hours in. I don't want his streams so idk if he even plays RFA at the time or Minecraft. Today's streams also never did reach 10k. Shu and Ike is also underperforming when compared to Mysta and Vox. Vox gets 14k peak last night only through gacha, then went back to becoming a sub 8k shitter doing quests.

But when compared to other Nijis, yes, they're big to them.

Well Noctyx and Luxiem are mixed in where they stream

Vox, Ike, Mysta and Yugo all stream in the morning for NA
Fulgur stream in the middle of the day most times
Shu, Uki and Alban stream mostly NA prime time, with Alban sometimes doing two streams per day with one in the morning
Then you have Luca and Sonny who stream late night or straight up early morning.
And sometimes even with 20, there's still some dead hours depending on how many take the day off
