>>21968864The main problem with Nijisanji is that they got too big too fast. They were big from the beginning. People really connect with Hololives rags to riches story but it isn't just a superficial story.
Nijisanji didn't know what to do with their initial success and instead of investing more in their first wave or two they just kept debuting chuuba after chuuba. If you think ACCELERATE is bad now, look at 2018/2019. This led to people tuning out on the newer debuts and just setteling in on their favorites which led to the "Nijisanji can't create new stars" thing you have today.
So, if I was Nijisanji instead of debuting dozens of shitters after our immediate success I would have slowed that shit down and invested more in the individual chuuba. I would make it so Nijisanji is their career and none of them have to have a traditional job to make ends meet. This would lead to more motivated talent, more creative projects, more generational unity, and higher morale. Now you can say that I am applying Hololive standards to Nijisanji but, for an entertainment agency, the talent being in good spirits is just as important as any customer satisfaction.
Look at the 3D debut today. An early generation shitter that nobody knows about. Who us another early generation shitter? Roboco! Yet, despite her viewershit approaching shitter tier, her name recognition is strong as fuck. Everybody knows who Roboco is. That is the main difference. Invest in your talent, appreciate your talent, you are nothing without your talent. This is what Nijisanji didn't get at the beginning. They have gotten better at this over time, but the damage was already done. We are looking at a position where every member of Hololive could potentially have 3D while Niji still has a waiting list going back for years.
