You end up helping out a 2view-turned-10 view or get roped into some /lig/-tier or small corpo friend circle and have to witness all the drama and corporate espionage first hand. 90% of these women are lonely menheras who, ironically, barely have any friends at all, let alone a supposed boyfriend. Half the non-vtuber people in the inner circle are only there to fuck their oshi, every conversation is just speculation about the vtubers inside the social circle instead of just chilling out and vibing with each other as equals. If a graduation happens there's a chance at least one person will start malding and accusing the graduate of having used the entire group. Tribalism can easily take hold and severe connections for no fucking reason. Secret dickswords are made that are supposed to be fun hangouts, only for them to turn into networking servers or orbitercords. Money is spent in disproportionate amounts on the vtubers that are most popular even within a supposed friend group where everyone is equal. It's shitty drama all the way down.

The fan-vtuber barrier is not meant to be broken. Stop trying to groom that 2view that you just found. Stop trying to gain the attention of that small corpo oshi you have. Just enjoy them as a casual fan and stick to the ones you know won't drag you into shit. Or better yet, just stay in the Holo & Niji bubbles where you know you won't ever talk to any of them. Don't befriend vtubers.
