To go back to the no zatsu collab discussion for a bit:
I think the main problem can be described as a thought process of hers:
>see JP icebreaker collabs, they're all playing a random game and using it as a springboard to make convo
>try to do the same in EN collabs (Kiara used to use the same games as her senpais like Clubhouse 51, Minecraft or Phogs exactly because of that)
>EN members are not receptive to her attempts to make a conversation going because of cultural differences and autism, even worse, the audience starts yelling at her for talking too much
>Kiara comes to the conclusion that the JP ways don't work so there needs to be more emphasis on the game (which is arguably right from the perspective of the audience but wrong for the core viewers)
>if people want to see more gameplay, you can't use the same games over and over again, so the hunt starts for new games, but there's alimited amount of games that work for this purpose, so collab ideas get delayed
>(You) are here
Once again, Kiara suffers because she's on an island between the EN and the JP branches. EN talents stream to an english audience in western style, JP talents stream to a japanese audience eastern style and Kiara is the exception since she streams to an english audience in eastern style. That way she can only get a limited audience that's interested in the japanese talents, but prefers English/doesn't speak Japanese (I assume if someone speaks Japanese and gets into vtubers, they'll probably go for a JP talent for their oshi) and filters a lot of normalfags, but since normalfags are the majority of the audience, she can't ignore them when considering future programs.
Again, she reminds me of Northernlion, a content creator held in high regards with more emphasis on holding a conversation while playing a game and interacting with their audience, but compared to their peers they fall short in numbers because what they're doing is a niche.
