Chadcast was one of the collabs I enjoy the most. My top choice is always TimeRys. This episode though was kind of low-energy and a bit off and the chadvice corner had pretty boring questions featured. The things I thought were interesting was the pizza, working out and cafeteria. Bae kept trying to insert topics that didn't vibe with the other two because they don't know jack shit like cars, kpop and Coachella. Only good thing that Coachella added was the conch tangent. I also noticed that IRyS and Mori didn't have prepared questions like before. The whole thing was still watchable for me but it was just a little boring. I hope the next one in May will be better.

This seems to be a consistent pattern for denizens of this board; thread last week about this had many such responses and I've seen it mentioned in a wide variety of threads.
Chuuba-enjoyers now eschew anime in favour of their live interactive waifus having fun with all their little friends but most often retain the reading of manga.
Common reason is not necessarily lack of time but rather that animu is fucking trash these days.
I've been going back to watch older things rather than any recent titles if I do watch anything at all.
And it's usually old anime or chuubas because live action tv and movies have been nothing but disappointing for a long while.

This. Don't use watch hours as a metric. Her average CCV is only higher than the two mentioned. You can also just compare and game other Holos have played as well and compare. She has had the lowest CCV of the following recent games played by mulitple ENs: Sucker for love, Closing Shift, Elden Ring, Overwatch. Also her karaokes lately have been the lowest of EN karaokes as well.

Her model doesn't fit in Hololive, it's true. That only matters at initial impressions and anyone who watches her streams, if they were of a high quality, would watcher her regardless.

The reason she doesn't get good numbers are because she is not a very good streamer in general. Many people here watch her because they like her. Well if you like someone's personality then naturally you're probably going to enjoy their content even if the quality isn't very high. This however does not apply to casuals, and outside her floor of about 3k loyal viewers, that's where the rest of the "numbers" are coming from.

The reasons she is a poor streamer are pretty numerous. She has one of the worst stream layouts in Hololive, and doesn't seem to care to improve it. She constantly has technical issues and plays games at poor resolution, as well frequently blocking things with her oversized model on said small resolution screen.

She does not really provide interesting content. She really just picks up the same games everyone else is playing, and why would you want to watch someone play a game worse/with a worse stream layout than others who are doing it better? This is partly why she filters casuals. She also doesn't really do any kind of variety like the other ENs do with random streams like handcams, drawing, weird zatsu. She only does FotM and singing, and the singing not so much these days.

She does not let Hololive fans know when she's streaming. She doesn't put out a scheudle any more and these things get a lot of views on twitter and are posted to places like here and reddit. The "rest of the viewers" also send SCs from time to time and are big driver in ad revenue. Also being a better stream means more members, which was something I left off. She doesn't do many member streams these days and there is not much variety to them. Things like her members singing stream were great to bring in new members.

This one does actually annoy me sometimes, just compare her elden ring layout with Ina's. Giant ass chat on screen, and her model covering important information. Honestly I'd say that as a viewer, rune count is probably the worst thing to be covering on your screen, because knowing that makes a death mean nothing or mean a lot.

Ok, I get that, but what is a streamer? I thought that how I watch is normal, that's the whole point. Doesn't matter if it's IRyS or... pewdipie or dr. disrespect. Entertainment comes from the streamer, game is just something to bounce off of. And as I see it, layout doesn't influence it at all, the kind of game doesn't influece it at all. And model doesn't influence it that much either.
Every time I, by random chance, opened some indie's stream, the first thing that I noticed, that made me stay for couple more minutes or leave immediately was how entertaining she was(her personality) and how pleasant was her voice. Model, live2d, layout, game it's all a shell, it's just seasoning, dressing, wrap. If she has a nice model, that would just make me go "oh, nice model, I'll check her artist" and close the tab with her stream.
Am I a weirdo? Are most people not like that?

Small details matter when there's so much competition out there. I was annoyed a few times about the Mori and Ina pngs blocking the action during the Elden Ring race so I understand why a casual viewer would just go watch Ina instead.

I was speaking towards drawing in casual viewers, and when her stream setup is much worse than the others streaming the same thing, why go with her unless you're already a die hard fan? Not to doorpost already but it has been a trend in every collab that she will get the lowest amount of viewers, and part of it is because of her stream setup.

On screen chat is for VODS. Youtube's integrated chat sucks ass and always lags like hell. I have an I-9 12900k, a 3080, and 64gb of RAM and that shit still lags. On-screen chat allows you to turn the youtube chat off and still see the chat reactions to what is happening on stream.
