For starters, in the very first line of text, you need a field spell in play. That's an entire card of setup just for this card not to DESTROY. ITSELF.
You need to either open with your field spell or have a way to search it as part of your play, otherwise Cusillu sits dead in your hand being literally useless.
Then, you have to actually summon it. Since Cusillu is level 8, you need to tribute 2 monsters to summon it. Tribute summoning uses your normal summon, which you get 1 of per turn. So you need to get 2 monsters on the field without using your normal summon, with a field spell in play. We're now 4 cards in to summon this monster, that's almost an entire hand.
So, you special summon 2 monsters, then normal summon cusillu. Instead of literally anything else you could have done with those 4 cards. You've now summoned a monster that doesn't even have to be killed, because your opponent can just destroy the field spell and 2 for 1 you, especially since backrow removal is much more common than monster removal. Also the card has no protection from monster removal.
If it's turn 1, the card does literally nothing, since you can't attack, and it's only effect both requires it to battle, AND to battle an opponents' monster. If it's turn 2, assuming none of the plays you used to special summon 2 monsters without using your normal weren't interacted with, for it to do anything, you have to attack into a monster with higher attack, destroying your monster you spent FOUR CARDS ON. Then, once you've rammed the entire focus of your deck face first into one of your opponents monsters (which stays on the field btw), AND its effect wasn't negated (most likely BY THAT SAME MONSTER, since it's still alive), nothing happens.
Nothing happens because you don't have an ENTIRE OTHER MONSTER to tribute to make its effect go off.
You need to go -FIVE. AN ENTIRE STARTING HAND, WITHOUT NORMAL SUMMONING, all just to burn your opponent for 4000 damage, an amount that even rogue decks laugh at for a fully uninterrupted play. You accomplished nothing. You are a clown. A fool. And guess what Cusillu means?
Cusillu(K'usillu)means monkey in the Quechua language. It can also be translated as buffoon or clown.
ALL OF THIS, on top of the fact that they actually released Earthbound Immortal support, which railroads them into an otk strategy that Cusillu CAN'T BE USED IN, because the setup that the EI support results in sets your opponent to 3000 life, the exact amount of attack points most bosses you're going to be ramming Cusillu into to accomplish nothing.
