1, 2, and Tactics were great, but are incredibly jank as fuck to play today with weird controls and a obtuse UI
3 was needed because it lept the series in 3D, and a lot of the series translates REALLY well into 3D, but bethesda dropped the ball on the story (to be fair, not like fallouts have a really big, diverging story).
New Vegas was really fuckin good, but needed way more time in the oven. For what it is it's really damn good
4 is hype, but a travesty that it exists
76 is hilarious cause they backpedaled on everything, from the dialogue in 4 that they INSISTED was good, to the AI's not being in the game.
