The problem is he just doesn't have the same passion about the story like Pomu did, and it comes across in the stream. You can tell Pomu was into it, because she went on to play the rest of the series, despite her numbers on those totally normalizing compared to MGR.

This. I tuned into some of the other members playing mgr and just seeing the story just bounce off them just made me lose interest. Pomu getting into it to the point where she's at a point where she sees Snake and instantly fangirls is way more entertaining.

Mix of him lying about his enthusiasm for the series (Claims to have played them all, doesn't know what the Metal Gear Ray is) and his clear disinterest in the story. Luca was a close second on worst playthrough.

I think the fact that she started with MGR makes it more entertaining, because she fangirls over Raiden, too. Like when Raiden gets the sword in MGS2. To players at the time, it was kind of just a cool nod to Grey Fox, but to her, it was this sort of reverse-nostalgia of seeing Raiden's origin story to becoming a ninja.

They have no interest in playing MGS (or MGR for that matter). They only play MGR because it blew up in popularity after Pomu played it so they're trying to jump on the popularity train but they're so fake that noone gives a shit about them.

Because MGR is a short game that can be completed in two short streams, versus 15+hr MGS.
