Honestly what's so nice about choking is how close and personal it is
Bipeds are the least balanced structure an organism can have, get up close, place your foot behind their leg, push them over, they're on the ground now.
Crouch right down and put your thighs over their arms, unless they're some kind of body builder your weight should do the trick from keeping them from moving (my sister did it to spit in my mouth when we were kids lol!), and once again they'd have to be flexible enough to meanigfully kick you off
Then you just collapse their windpipe for 2 minutes and bam! Was it everything you imagined?
