I am not exactly sure how they work and what the colours mean. Maybe you need to superchat that colour with the text to trigger one?
Also I can't read half the buttons, since pic related.
I guess it is up to see if the JPs like the buttons and use them well, since Kanata has very low % of EOP streamers due to bad hours for them and fairly complicated Japanese.
