Most of Mori’s subs are either dead or follow her for her music, only a very small percentage follow her for streaming content or because they’re a parasocial loser like the chuds on this board.
And I agree on the first point too. Most of the people who follow Mori aren’t really Hololive fans either. I mean otherwise she, and all the other meme, would not only share a large percentage of their subs but also their viewers, right? But that just isn’t possible. And, Mori draws a specific demographic very heavily, one that I see lean into the “idol culture bad” stuff pretty hard. Her fanbase at large is unlikely to be a bunch of your typical hololive fans, in my opinion.
