If Kiara and (you) want her music to do better, she must stop playing long form JRPG's and stream more, shorter, buff content instead.
Out of every method that is available to streamers to increase the amount of eyes that land upon their content, the one that reigns supreme above all of them is simply having more people watch your streams.
The correlation is not 1 to 1, but simply building a larger viewer base WILL correlate to more music views, this is a proven phenomenon, not just in Hololive but across all platforms.
If Kiara continues to refuse to change the content she streams, her other, much harder to make content and projects will continue to suffer in turn.
To any imbecile who see numbers and chooses to bring up whatever anecdotal reason THEY personally have for liking or disliking it, and then tries to rationalise its performance with their thoughts on the quality of the thing in question, you are an actual retard. Only a simpleton tries to rationalise the success of things on their perceived quality, there are far more important factors in play.

In the end the only thing that truly matters is whether people replay the song a lot because they like it. In the long-term it's unironically the only thing that matters, "algorithm boosts" only accelerate reaching the 1m (or make it possible). We've seen many examples where things flopped hard despite hype (UnAlive, which has already been surpassed by Mera Mera) or songs out-growing another long-term (SPARKS + Violet having similar views for a long time until about 2m, but then Violet fizzled out while SPARKS just kept growing).

Sorry, I was saying in relation to Fever Nights and what I think its future holds. Sparks is a good, energetic, upbeat song that comes together to celebrate Kiara's growth in general and does well with her chicken vocals. The poppy genre fits her much better. You are genuinely wrong.
I know it's verboten to say in this place, but as someone who watches other normal 3DPD streamers on twitch and youtube, the western Vtuber audience is the only one where talking about analytics is so taboo.
Shit is actually insane, I think it's a byproduct of people using vtubing as away to escape "normal" streamers and all the things that come with that, like trying to manipulate the algorithms for viewership. They might also associate it with the fact sometimes normal streamers have pissing matches over who's more popular, which is actually what bad numberfagging looks like.
The "escapism" aspect of vtubing is good in a lot of cases, but for something like this it's purely delusional and unrealistic.

True, but the vtuber audience is also the only community where people numberfag so relentlessly and compare subcounts like dick sizes. This doesn't generally happen in the twitch sphere, perhaps because it's just too big for people to think of it as a "race" with 20 entrants. Smaller streamers clout-chase and leech shamelessly and guess what, nobody gives a fuck about it and nobody calls them leeches for it.

I remember when one of the big clippers got a bit of drama for naming the peak viewership counts in his clips about the new outifts, which made it look like he was comparing their popularity against each other and people freaked out about it. He changed the video titles I think.

On this subject, another absolutely insane difference in perspective between Vtubing and normal streamers is openness in dropping something because it's underperforming.
I watched/have watched dozens of streamers of the years, and the number 1 reason they give for "hey streamer, why did you stop playing x?" is simply, "Not enough people were watching it".
And they'll just fucking say it, straight up, no sugarcoating. And none of their audience will even care, they completely understand and accept it.
Could you imagine what would happen if a girl in HoloEN said something like that? I remember there was shitposting about the totally schizo possibility that Ina might, just MIGHT, have dropped some series because it was getting less than her average viewership.
The western vtuber audience is unironically brain poisoned when it comes to numbers.

The issue is that holos are playing a character and an idol, they are supposed to be perfect anime waifus with no financial motivations who are doing everything out of love for their fans and their job as idols. Same reason they have to pretend to be super good friends with literally all co-workers even though it's obvious they have 0 synergy. I do agree that a streamer shouldn't get pissy or emotional over people leaving or not liking something, I disagree when people sperg out over a streamer simply talking about making rational business decisions in relation to their content.
Also, you don't go to a sale clerk to hear about their day and how they're doing, streamers are different in this aspect because the openness is a part of the equation that you wouldn't expect from any other job.

Assuming this is a good faith post, I didn't like it much when I first heard it. Most of the complaints in global I kinda agreed with, wish she sang in a more raspy low voice, no rhyming in the song made the flow kinda weird. After listening to it a couple times tho, I think the song over comes those issues and has grown to be my favorite Kiara original, it really picks up after the first verse.

It's the truth covercrop job is to treat their talents equally and they all give them an time to shine and they do an really good job. She just upsets that unlike jp member she does not have access to the 3D studio. But instead of waiting until the last minute like she did this time and complain she should checked way in advanced and she would have learned about studios prices and could have planed out her birthday more efficiently.
