>>26146540>voice criticismIt's not that it is "lost", everyone here knows that her voice (though it's debatable how much of it is really the "character voice" itself, and how much is on the fucked up mic settings making it even worse) is one of the bigger potential filters for a large part of the potential audience that'd watch her but doesn't, but that's why it's also by now a pretty much "solved", or rather "settled" question - the people for whom the voice is such a turn-off that it actively prevents them from watching her have already long been gone (or never really showed up in the first place), so the remaining KFP fanbase by now is mostly only made up of people who either actively like how the voice sounds, have mindbroken themselves into liking it, or at least just passively tolerate it because Kiara's other likeable traits make up for it (and they don't want to rock the boat with another fruitless voice timeloop).
There's not really much anyone can do wrt to changing it, the voice is part of the character Kiara wants to portray (genki, energetic, whatever) and what she thinks sounds good and cute for her (so there's no talking her out of it, as it's a matter of this being her subjective taste and she takes complaints about it as a personal attack on her character concept - I have no idea how you could couch constructive criticism into the limited space of a SC for example, that she wouldn't take badly, misinterpret or dismiss). One some level even she herself knows it's a filter, but that only reinforced it as a stubborn point of pride for her (oh yeah you don't like my voice? Well fuck you, that's I'm keeping it, so only True Fans™ remain!) and feels like changing it would only be "admitting defeat" and "caving in" to her "haters". She's not gonna drop it, she rides this out until she is physically impossible to do so anymore because she becomes another Hololive medical casualty.
