from the start i had no real problem with it being her choice, i dont watch her much and in the end i cant dictate what she can and cant do but i had a problem with the effects her choice has, especially with how she handled it.
that wouldve remain unchanged if she had doubled down.

though if they can change when ever they want, eventually what gender or sex they were originally really becomes blurred, especially theres no record of the original forms gender and said person/character doesnt even remember, it happens all the time with myths and especially in fate.
funnily enough fate does actually touch on this topic a lot, mainly as a contrivance to have cute anime girls but its not just that.
