>>28958353Women like a very small selection of men, so it's not hard to figure out what'll be popular and just mass produce it. Men are all over the place with what they like, nothing will ever seem good enough, so it makes sense to play it risky.
But we're not talking about male/female audience members, right? Actually, yes we are, because women watch Nijisanji and men watch Hololive. Women are also down to Earth and obsessed with normalcy and reality, so that's why 90% of Nijis are just high school students, while men are more abstract thinkers and like novelty more, which is why Hololive is full of childish fantasy archetypes.
Anycolor has realized this over time and has more recently, like with EN, tried to make their girls more Holo-like (cute, fantastical) to attract more male viewers - which they should want to do in general since YouTube is dominated by male audiences. However, Cover doesn't give a fuck, they design Holostars with the same thought process as Hololive. We knew with Uproar that they hadn't changed their strategy and we see it once again with Tempus.
On the other side of the tracks, however, it looks like Anycolor isn't entirely satisfied with the NijiEN results, since their new wave is just a bunch of high school students again.
