idk. for us it's obviously coincidental, but if other threads had as many coincidences as we have had, they would have developed a superstition by now. regardless, i have loved this thread since before it was called /meat/, and i'll continue to love it well after, so all i hope for is that the paradigm of things swaying equally between good times and bad will continue, if it means keeping this community alive.

that's a respectable way of enjoying it, but it's also fun to watch them doing stuff. usually, they aren't the most skilled gamers, but if you can handle seeing them make a few mistakes, watching them improve from those mistakes is pretty fun.

they are never accurate, but they aren't completely inaccurate all the time, either. use them as clues to figure out the general topic, never trust the translation to be accurate word for word.

Anyways if I wanted to consume my oshi it depends on the meat. For fish vtubers you’d want a bit of butter with lemon and fresh dill. Be careful not to burn the butter when basting the fish. Also some chuuba meat might be unsuitable for consumption.
For chuubas similar to cows I’d try to find a place with good marbling, even throughout. Grill or cast iron doesn’t matter to me. Grill requires the meat to be patted dry on the outside as much as possible. Season liberally with salt and pepper. The grill needs to be set to the highest it can go for that. After grill starts to smoke, put the steak on and close. After 7-10 minutes flip and angle it to get grill marks. Another 7-10 minutes and steak should be done.
