>>30193030I don't think she's ever talked about it to know the exact business side of details, but the AZKi project was pretty clearly much more heavily managed then the average Holo if you look at the liner note interviews she used to put up with every song that would have statements from the contributing artists, herself, and the frog. However, unlike IRyS and Omega, her and the frog seem to have had a very good working relationship where AZKi was able to give a lot of feedback, she was able to decide upon themes for songs, and he'd let her do things herself as well. I would assume that INNK was the one paying for her music and marketing, since the big animated music videos she made for her rereleased songs and Overlight seemingly came from her and the frog wanting to spend out INNK's budget and warchest before it shutdown. However, I would also assume that AZKi's earnings were pretty much the sole revenue source for INNK, so outside of any outside funding, she was still paying for everything herself, just not through her personal bank account. As to what they did, INNK acted more like a traditional idol management where they were much more heavy handed in creating her image and controlling what she did to further said image, but they also had some competent production staff on board which is why even AZKi's older Lives were miles above Cover's 3D at the time as well as reducing the amount of legwork she needed to do with the frog acting as an intermediary for song production.
