But I can also say that of most other websites, and I think you'd be able to agree with that, as well. For different reasons, but it's still true of any place you go.
But I do think there's something special about the good that you get from a place like this. A long while ago, I saw an anon make a post that resonated with me.
There was a story, by Plato, I believe, about what people would do if given an invisible ring. How the theory was initially posited that no man, if given the ability to evade detection, would ever act in a just manner. If given invisibility, they assumed that man would be evil just because no one could stop them from doing otherwise.
But here, there are plenty of people who have that ring, yet act kind. Indulge in their hobbies. Open up a bit. Encourage others to do the same. Gain enjoyment, and bring others joy, for no other reason than because they want to do so.
I think there's value in that which outweighs the bad that can come with it.
