>>3126802Another anon, I don't have an overall opinion about all of this, but let me add more context and tell you why some people are mad:
>The Phasmophobia incidentOn her debut month (December 24th), she made an horror game collab with her genmates and there were moments after almost 2 hours passed where she started making strange noises ("moaning") and comments (like wanting to end the stream) to the point that her chat and her genmates noticed it, but apparently at the time nobody made more questions. This resurfaced again around this week when the idea that she could have been fingered or even having sex with another man began to be spread; people are mad due to claims of Ollie being unprofessional and risking her career or even her genmates career for such imprudent action. Her defenders argue that she makes those weird noises whenever she plays horror games due to being scared.
>The Apex incidentWhen she was playing Apex with Reine, while Ollie was gone for a moment, Reine heard a male voice through her call and Ollie said in a panic it was her sister and Reine covered the situation for Ollie; people are mad because of the same claims of Ollie being unprofessional and also for claims of she being in a room with an unidentified man, which is against the accepted norms of Hololive. Her defenders argue that while it was actually a male voice, it could have been a Discord call with a man named Jared, which Ollie has collabed with before playing Apex.
>The Connor incidentCDawgVA, also known as Connor, is an anituber that is also part of the podcast about anime Trash Taste. Ollie had been talking about him on stream and then this extended to playing with him offstream and tweeting about him (I honestly didn't know about the Discord part); people got mad because while Ollie can do whatever she wants offstream and not many about her mentioning him on stream (even if she's "supposed" to follow the rules of idol culture), the fact that she kept bringing him up on Twitter and this also extended to Moona and Iofi made some angry even there because they kept associating under the Hololive mark with someone unrelated to them except for the fact that Mori went to the podcast but only as part of a corporative collab organized by Kadokawa, which has ties to both Hololive and Trash Taste. Defenders argue that [some] people are only jealous and too invested on idol culture, or that some just don't like Connor and due to that they don't want him near Hololive.
And related to the above, not to mention that Connor made negative comments about the Hololive fandom because of the dissaproval of some fans about the TT collab, and some accuse him of being a leech under the claim that he didn't show interest about vtubers until he saw they were successful (for example, he tried to interact with Amelia but she ended banning him of her chat because he derailed the flow every time with his sole presence).
>Just note something, Ollie just said that her break is due to mental health issues and never gave an specific reason outside of it not being related to the streams. The most that Ollie knows controversial opinions about her is that she read an edited FB screenshot of anti posts from /vt/ and then Moona allegedly visited this place and told her there's negativity around her.
