How NijiEN operates has 0 effect on HoloEN anyways if you look at the numbers.
It's not like there's been a new NijiEN wave debut that has stolen numbers from HoloEN. The people watching Luxiem (the bulk of NijiEN's numbers) weren't watching HoloEN to begin with.

I would argue that releasing more iLUMA-tier waves doesn't even hurt NijiEN that much, it just didn't help them much either outside of having more bodies for collabs.
Over the past few weeks, ILUMA has barely affected the rest of NijiEN's numbers so far. Luxiem still gets their lion's share of numbers in overlap because most of iLUMA was dead on arrival.
It's starting to become like NijiJP where new waves don't affect the old guard much, they're just kinda doomed from the start unless they're a superstar.
Like just look at this current collab to see the state of things.

I would blame not the talents, but the Niji recruiters for allowing them to become Nijilivers. Are they doing their reps? Two chicks are fucking 3-views mainly because they are such awful scouts. Yugo might do better if she had a Kyo avatar since the avatar would just carry her. Aia will not get that numbers if they did not hire her in the first place. Accelerate can be part of why their numbers are awful, but you cannot just excuse bad hiring and avatar fit. Also, lots of early collabs and overlaps.
This is why I can appreciate the efforts of Tempus dudes. They know they may become a flop like Iluna but made an coordinated effort to stay relevant. They may be 4-view shitters, but they developed a dedicated fanbase not for the starsbox but for themselves. They prioritized in developing their floors. And also kudos for their recruiters to actually look for talents who have some sort of niche to cater regardless of how small it is.

I believe accelerate is not really that much of a problem if their scouts are much more competent than Holopro's. Having over a hundred talents is not a problem if they are unique enough to cater a certain type of audience. That's kind of the main issue to me as later down the line once the old guard leaves where does that put NijiEN in the future? HoloEN, ID, and JP at least has standouts in each Gen(for the most part) that could be superstar material under the right circumstances. What kills your viewership isn't just overlaps, it's overlaps with talents who have similar audience. I guarantee you Mori playing Jump King has very little overlap with Fauna playing Minecraft (less than 300-400), so the viewership difference is "negligible." However, if you have Gura and Fauna playing Minecraft, you now have an overlap of two similar audiences, and Fauna's ccv will take the brunt of the damage

I don't think incline is guaranteed just because of lack of overlap. If you look at the bottom feeders of NijiEN, even if NijiEN was just Lazulight, Finana will never be a 5k avg streamer.
On the other hand, if you're actually kinda good at streaming, you'll incline anyways like Enna, who was a 2k shitter when she debuted to now where she can get 4k solo (I'm not counting those collabs that took her to 6-7k) even after 3 new waves.

I guess my point is, if most of your apples are already rotten, you might as well get more apples.

They need support from EN. SEA and EN have relatively significant overlap, especially since a decent amount of SEA can speak English. I've already seen some NijiEN collabing with ID, so that's a good start. Unfortunately, that help only goes so far. The audiences for a ton of NijiEN just aren't the same as those of NijiID. Kaela benefits a shit ton from EN, literally any Minecraft stream she has with over 9k audience probably has 1-2k from NA

FalseyeD is going to release a video about how it was a misunderstanding and wasn't meant to be construed a certain way, and that Holo fans are the villains for attacking an innocent chuuba expressing her love for her corpo
The comments will range from people declaring themselves as Hololive fans saying that anyone who attacks another chuuba is not a true fan, to others who call Vshojo based, to others that will try to explain what Silver meant and that it wasn't actually an insult
The replies will consist of people circlejerking the top comment, with an occasional post of dissent arguing against the Silver's words, who will be shit on relentlessly by everyone else commenting. One comment chain will have over 50 replies
The outrage will last 2-3 days before interest dies down. No one will be happier for it in the end. Vshojo fans will state that Hololive fans are too sensitive and are rabid, Hololive fans will state that Vshojo fans don't actually understand what Hololive is and only believe rumors while (perhaps not so subtly) disparaging some of the more "problematic" Vshojo girls
