>>3180737I do agree with the lore being therapy for her, but I work under a different set of theories.
I do respect yours though as it doesn't really trample any fact we know, but here's mine:
1) Lore started as a one shot voidchama thing because of haachama talking with her sister and changing plans at the last moment for a stream (voidchama OG stream, confirmed).
She kept doing it for several reasons:
-She found the viewers reaction amusing (hey this works!)
-She needed something to fill up her schedule (because she doesnt play games as much as others, which is one of her main troubles)
-She likes the idea of VA and anime directing.
-It does act as psychodrama/therapy for her, generally a mix of her current troubles and anime she's recently watched
(schizo arc: seiso vs crazy, cover given backstory vs doing her own thing, EN vs JP fanbase, idol vs degenelate...)
(timetravel arc: could be a way to reboot but also a response to fans asking "bring the old haato back" or even cover asking her to "go the way she was before" perhaps, that we dont know)
2) After the 2 long breaks, she's recharged (current mood), and for various reasons she wants to have more of a normal schedule. So she goes to her usual things: utawaku, minecraft, tetris, fan content reviews, and lore (it's also now a staple activity of hers).
3) Why didn't she finish the Babel Tower? Why did she not play minecraft? She's bored of it, she only goes to it when she has an interesting idea in mind that's also a challenge (Babel). And she either hyperfocuses on things (lore for example, and she confirmed the hyperfocusing on activities in the member stream), or she loses interest easily.
Which are super obvious ADHD symptoms, along with her grades, and specially her past reliance on Red Bull (caffeine and stimulants are the drug of choice for ADHD).
The biggest difference of my theories with yours is that I don't thing she self-sabotages out of shame or respect.
What I think is that she unironically tries to be the best [when she's motivated]. Eventually she loses interest and another thing catches her attention. Basically, she strives for greatness but she's constantly (self)sabotaged by her ADHD.
