As far as Gura's singing, I'll say what I say in every other autistic EN singer discussion. Gura knows her style and her niche and that's way more important, frankly, than technical skill. Singing is a brand just as much as anything else, and what matters the most is being able to hit skill thresholds rather than being an absolute pebble counting thing. Gura's voice is really quite pretty, timbre is the most defining quality of a singer, and her song choice is really magnificent. I actually put on her cover of Wake Me Up When September Ends a lot. It's really touching.
Anyway, I won't get into a super long discussion about what I love about IRyS's singing but I'll just say I love her idol voice and it makes me gos. But if you wanted me to be honest about it, compared to Gura, IRyS would need to figure out how to brand herself and exhibit creative control over her songs or else she genuinely has way less of a chance of making any creative career of singing, regardless of her talent. CoD and One Step At A Time are really good but neither of them hold a candle to Reflect.
