I did, and I made good on it. I really enjoy being a vtuber. I’ve wanted to stream for a while but wanted to have some degree of anonymity and was also just dealing with low self-esteem for most of my life. I’m not even ugly, I was just insecure. I got into vtubers a few years ago and wanted to become one myself. I’m shooting for the moon and hoping to get into the next gen of Holostars EN.

As someone that streamed as myself, let me tell you that the attention is weird. I honestly think streaming takes a certain type of personality, because even just the feeling of all the attention (~100 viewer avg, 5k followers) I got felt wrong. I ended up quitting because it started to negatively affect my mental health, and the financial success did not outweigh that. I am happy now to just be a normie with a regular job, and vtubers are a fun distraction.

Look even without the camera it can be stressful even if a 1-view with minimal voice.

Being a Lamy means what you got 10k+-ish a stream? I can't figure out that personality as just the sheer volume of data coming in via chat peeks and even things like Supas or Memnotice is just maddening and that's without being one with the audio alerts (Seriously look at Ollie's stream when her supa/dono alerts are going off and how it still now throws her off slightly)

Become Lamy and you can just kinda partition that off so neatly for the Superchat reading section. That alone is just another WTF is she doing as I'm pretty sure I'd go mad doing it.
Maybe she does go crazy and we get rotating Lamys in there

I looked at it, and I saw her reflection smiling back at me.
Unfortunately, once I woke up, nothing had changed. I was still myself.
