Nakiri Ayame did not stream for 80 days, right after breaking an absurd past 60 days record of no streaming.
She barely gave any reasonable excuses as to why, but suddenly her voice was fine just in time for this huge cash grab event were she earned thousands of dollars in a few hours.
Then she announced she would do a members stream only to have a never ending rain of new memberships. Yes, people are PAYING for MONTHLY memberships for a vtuber that did not stream for over 2 months on multiple occasions.
My question is why... Why don't people believe in merit and hard work?
Why don't people reward those vtubers that struggle to break a handful viewers who put effort on their streams at even the cost of their health, why do people chose to throw their money and attention away on this vtuber just because she has the blue Dorito brand next to her name? Why do the people who seemly overwhelmingly complain about capitalism and monopolies behave like this?
