>>32479597For the most part, but it does tend to foster certain expectations that if you feel you cannot fully meet can be exhausting. Especially if the environment tends to flow in a certain way.
For HoloEN's case I think its really clear that a certain hierarchy has been formed around Gura (not as a negative per say but that this is how it is) as the "apex" and so attempting to emulate and express traits seen as Guralike are implicitly encouraged by the social environment. This works for people like Mumei and Fauna who while doing their own things are able to emulate certain aspects and feel accepted.
On the other hand someone like Mori cannot be someone like Gura and actively has to fake her Guralike qualities most of the time and so is liberated my the males who she can be herself around.
Basically in HoloEN but happenstance Gura became the template for The Stacy and so Mori by hjer more masculine hobbies and upbringing has become the weird alt chick that is stoned all weekend is kind of obnoxious and calls the popular girls "posers" and the like.
For someone like Kronii she would be the girl that has a bunch of unpopular hobbies that she keeps suppressed to fit in who is given a taste of the part of herself she was denying and is now suffering social blowback as a result intensified by her inability to socially navigate the situation.
I also don't meant these terms as a negative only as an analogy
