Sorry but I felt at the time that EN and ID were being unfairly neglected, management took (At the time in my own opinion) decisions which actively disparaged my oshi and her branch and projects. Truth of the situation (WHICH THEY WILL NEVER BE TRANSPARENT ABOUT!) be damned, for a paltry sum like $5, $5 is nothing to my oshi or Cover. I know that a portion of membership fees went straight to cover and even if they don't anymore, I didn't feel like supporting a company who treated its people in such a way. It took many small things over months to make me reconsider giving them money and I decided to stop, but in the end I came running back like a beaten housewife.
I know that people like me are the target market for idols in a financial sense, but being a victim of that mentality...it was a horrifying first for me. "It's alright, they'd never do this to the girl you want to support so badly, they wouldn't be that dumb.". "Ok they did that thing but they have a history of incompetence, maybe it's time to stop giving them my money." "OH SHIT MEMBER'S STREAM SOON I BETTER REJOIN". You can consider it growing pains. I feel trapped by this damn hobby.
