>>30795826Basically Ame's contrarianism makes her constantly test boundaries, we all know that. Just look at how she handled her 3D, constantly testing just how far she could go with it, without actually doing a 3D debut. "It's only a singing performance so it doesn't count", "you can only see the silhouette so it doesn't count", "you can't see my face because of the VR headset so it doesn't count", etc. Her brain drives her to dance near the edge.
The problem with male collabs was always going to be that she doesn't understand the line. I imagine in her mind she sees "being the organiser of a tournament that involves men" as just a small step beyond something like doing a duet, which is itself a small step beyond liking tweets on Twitter. Unfortunately, because she doesn't understand the line, she doesn't realise this big collab is in the same general bucket as a 1 on 1 collab, with only an offcollab being further.
"No male collabs period" is a guard-rail set back some distance from the edge, if you stay behind the guard-rail you're pretty much guaranteed not to fall off. If you hop the guard-rail you can stand closer to the edge and still not fall, but at that point you only have to mis-judge one step to fall, and the longer you spend on the wrong side of the rail, the more likely a mis-step is to happen. I personally think that's exactly what happened here, Ame misjudged "organising a big collab with a bunch of guys", and off the cliff she goes.
