Also you seem to forget the episode where they actually try to ambush the Ent-D with three of those because one would get shit canned as the piece of crap they are , two means that at best they lose one and the other has to go to the scrapyard after, so three is the only number that assured the survival of the Romulan commander. Just think about how bad it was for the Romulans that two shittier klingon birds of prey made the Romulans go home in the situation because those two ships meant that the Ent-D would be able to focus on one for awhile...meaning making it go boom before the ENT-D shields are even fully depleted.
In fact, look at the same image you have posted... semioficially(because there aren't primary canon sources, only secondary canon sources) the Galaxy class has a gross tonnage bigger(by not much) than a D'deridex. Which means that ship is hollow as a damn potato snack and that size difference is a fucking mirage.
