And if you were somehow completely new to Niji and unaware of the brand they made it clear from the very first day Lazulight debuted there would be male collabs by having them collab with a male in the debut program, they continued to collab with males from other branches and outside the company all the way up until males debuted in the branch. It was so expected that even long before Luxiem debuted people were always telling newfriends from hololive fandom not to get invested in the girls if they couldn't handle male collabs because there would definitely be male members at some point and it wasn't a question of if but when.
Watching HoloEN on the other hand, you could reasonably have expected no male interactions from your oshi ever outside of corporate stuff and been reasonably sound in that assumption up until recently.
