It literally seem more and more interesting the more you read it. Apparently everything started when a giant sword fell from the sky 3000 years ago, bringing Alien tech to Holo-Earth
Most Holo were people who made contact with the sword and get chosen and given superhuman power via alien tech from the sword. Roboco literally was made from the alien tech extracted from it
The area around the sword is most probably the abandoned city where Roboco and Aki as well as Sora show up in HoloAlt trailer
