Best case scenario is that it's just to fix chats being seen by creators (which you'd know if you had patience and actually did methodical testing instead of rushing across the border like a bunch of wetbacks). Worst case scenario is that we get the AI crying again and have to once again ask why nobody's killed them devs yet.
And the biggest problem is still a lack of communication. Is it really so hard for them to edit the home page's html to add a notice that they're fixing something? That's literally top priority above all else, just because they don't have any pr clout to spare after everything that happened over the past week. It's as simple as letting people know they're fixing the chat leak issue, unless they're trying to memory hole that too in order to avoid taking responsibility for it...which looks even worse.
I just...I don't know who's managing the project, but goddamn I'd never trust them to even water my plants right now.
