>>35466119I think there's been an extremely serious internal talk that allowed this. Altare hinted at such with his sole self-glorifying, self-wanking speech about how things 'have to change'. It probably doesn't look very serious on the outside, but I think there's a clear disagreement from EN's side about what hololive should be.
I sorta... don't even care either that they think that because EN and ID have been the buttwipe of the company in spite of bringing in really good numbers and Gura being the most subscribed hololive member. They kinda deserve to think they need to be allowed to do their own stuff, since Cover doesn't support them in being included in JP's stuff at all.
Like, if JP management actively tried to include ID and EN into JP related matters, I'd probably be more pissed off at EN for spitting on it and doing their own thing - but it's the polar opposite. EN and ID keep getting Corona-backed-off by JP and it's very obvious that they don't get the help that they need to grow; so why on earth would they play nice with management and pretend that they don't want to collab with Nijis and VShojos to be honest?
A good example is Risu. Risu is an amazing singer and she tried to be relevant for hololive - she was never acknowledged by management. Her gen was around for such a long time, way longer than EN was - and what did they get? Nothing. Risu streamed Getting Over It on a complete dogshit laptop, and while I think she earned enough money to buy a good one at that point, it's still safe to assume Cover doesn't even provide the most basic tech, let alone tech HELP to them. Cover has fucked ID and EN for a very long time now, and the only bone they throw to them was FES - which was the hypest thing to have happened in hololive in a while even though Rushia had just been terminated and bad vibes were all over the place. Afterwards they dumped ID and EN again. The only times ID and EN get to show up with JP is when JP deliberately designs mass collabs like Among Us streams.
