The Arthurian tales are very funny from a certain perspective
Some french guy makes lancelot to cuck the english king for some french idea of romance, but after a few hundred years people still aren't really a fan of it.
Some other guy then makes gawain, the Grail Knight, to cuck Lancelot out of being the best Knight of the round table.
Mordred and Arthur then both die in glorious combat (Also Mordred is a product of incest but let's not get into that), but Arthur just loses both Caliburn (Y'know, the sword that made him kingly in the first place?) and Excalibur's sheath for some reason earlier in the story and we never hear from them again, they're just gone! Merlin? He apparently in one version gets seduced by Morgan into teaching her all of his magic, causing the downfall of Camelot despite the fact he shouldn't be attracted to humans in that way because of being part demon/fae. Oh and apparently Fate is the only series to know that Arthur had a magic sword, dagger, spear AND shield, but only the lance is important or something. Oh and the knights had their own swords but some knights had their own multiple named swords that aren't given proper descriptions. It's a real fucking 800 year old story based on a real person who lived 4th century AD and I don't think I'll ever get tired of it.
I should read the Arthurian Tales again.
