They aren't even like Calli, Sui-chan or Towa who focus on making music and would have an excuse if they streamed that occasionally. They aren't doing anything officially. Hololive is a side-project that make them a lot of money now.

i dont know about your numbers, but I just checked their growth in the last 3 hours, pic related. Each of them has gotten 400 subs in 3hrs (133 subs per hour), but seem to be deaccelerating according to your data. New estimate is that, assuming the growth keeps constant from now on, they`ll gain +7k subs until their debut, being around 22k by then.

I know; she's the only one out of the EN members that doesn't seem to have lost viewers and is averaging over 10k per stream now. It's probably a combination of consistency (in frequency and time of day) and a time slot she essentially has to herself since Kiara and Ame keep on switching their streaming times.

Gura wanted like 100k subs max so she could have a comfy chat she can actually keep up with and doesn't feel pressured to perform for literally millions.

On a good note - it isn't the end of the world, since she would be able to adapt to it pretty quickly given her skills. It'll still be a lot LOT harder to make song covers and dance though. She will need help.
On that note, Luna could end up fucking her hand permanently as well, even after surgery. I used to watch this french girls piano covers on Youtube and I noticed I hadn't seen her for a while randomly one day during a Luna stream. Few months later literally when Luna was having issues and went for surgery, she uploaded a video saying she had to quit playing piano because her wrist is utterly fucked. Shit's soul destroying man.

Okay, I just checked NijiEN subs and at their current pace (assuming no sudden burst prior to debut) we're pretty much looking at all 3 of them being less than 70k subs combined, which given all the inroads that Vtubers have created in the western market, plus Nijisanji actually going out of its way to buy ad time and make an MV for their debut... is kinda fucking bad.

I might be misremembering but I think all of HoloEN minus kiara was at least at 70 k each 1 day BEFORE debut. And with the Amesame podcast and meme review, I think they might be lucky to reach 20k viewers each. Still though, I'm not gonna make any final predictions until I see waiting room and subscriber numbers at least 30 minutes prior to debut.

I think the problem with the Ad is that it doesn't immediately hook you in the first 5 seconds that you actually have to watch it (assuming no adblock). It feels like one of those chink gacha games trying to shill their new units. Ads do sometimes work though. I remember getting an Ad from an indie (Mikado) who was doing an Acapella for a Lisa song. I ended up subscribed to her just because of how good her voice was.

Seeing how low the viewers for the debut video were until they started running ads it leads me to believe a lot of their new views are from ads.
