Kronii keeps joking and being (probably) ironic about sadness, depression, nihilism, etc. To the point where we can't read her if shes genuine about it or not.
Fauna on the other hand is all about positivity, and "oooooohhh"s. We all know her as that, so seeing her negative would be feel off.
And yes, while it is not a good excuse for not doing your job, I got to allow her to give her a rest if I were a manager coz the "they are not your relatives and they are not person" counter excuse sounds evil Imo. In entertainment company such as holo, this is a loose loose specifically for vtubers: let them have a break > less profit
Make them work more besides this excuse > mental decline > working wont be 100% efficient (disregarding abt not appreciating their job).
