For women it's always been a much colder and more calculating transactional/practical drive for material survival, i.e. men have all the things, I want the things, so I'll seduce men to get the things. I think women who remain virgins are psychologically not as compromised as men who remain virgins, at least up until they hit menopause without having had children and then the whole paradigm shifts and you see women suffering the greater psychological damage from not having children, and men not suffering as much from not having children. Men get a lesser form of psychological damage from not having someone to provide for, but it doesn't compare to a woman having not birthed life into the world.
I think we ARE compatible though. Those two drives:
