I don't think it's the fault of the format though, his format is probably good and better than Duolingo
I think Temma's just a boring personality, that or he's not good at making his english streams entertaining
And even if a cute girl voice can carry a duolingo stream I don't think it's just that either; Aruran does good entertaining english language streams, they're just not language-education-focused
I think it's a shame cause Duolingo is a trend and the hololive schedule often works by spreading content trends; if Temma's format trended then tons of JPs would switch to streaming more legit effective reps but since Temma's streams are boring and low-viewership, his specific format won't trend
I think either an entertaining JP has to give a new format a try in order for it to trend, or an entirely new stream-friendly app has to be discovered to become the new trend
People who are actually doing eigo reps seriously: Marine, A-chan, Mel (all mostly off-stream)
