>>37429813Super-sensitive people should not be anywhere near positions of power regarding very internet-meta things, and HoloEN is not ultra-meta but it is kind of involved in it because some of these girls and guys are what I'd call, for lack of a better term, "internet people," memers or whatever and Noir is definitely an old and well-seasoned one.
It reminds me of how apparently, facebook mods literally get diagnosed with PTSD doing their jobs, but from their descriptions it sounds like they get triggered as fuck looking at shit an average janny or mod here sees all the time and doesn't flinch. In the 00s web culture was more commonly bridged everywhere hence you had people using 4chan jokes and lingo in very disparate games and forums, but nowadays people try to label and shun things thinking that "fixes" people. It doesn't. Example - have all these years of getting triggered and canceling people perceptibly made a dent in society? Has canceling people ended racism? No... in fact, it only gave racists a hateable cartoony opponent to use the existence of to double themselves down. It's no longer normal people just nudging them to tone it down, it's now ridiculous overreacting caricatures of people who can to them be safely ignored as actually-mattering.
So, I reiterate, super-sensitive people should not be anywhere near positions of power regarding very internet-meta things. They're doing literally everything wrong about it.
