>>38611274I still remember Halo 3's tank level where you take it down a path and after completing the objective there, you instinctively go back the way you came because you're at a dead end, and when taking that same path back, the way the curvature of the canyon and the lighting hitting it work, you see there's a branching path. The path was there when you initially went through the canyon, but wasn't visible until you needed it to.
You didn't need a waymarker or glowing shit guiding you, because the natural level design guided you.
