To me, the appeal of watching vtubers specifically, and especially those of the opposite gender, is that they feel more comfortable opening up to the opposite sex behind the avatar. Guys get to watch girls talk about what’s in a girl’s mind without fear of it following them (to the majority of their audience that isn’t schizo and goes digging for rm shit, at least), and I imagine it must be the same for a lot of girls who watch male vtubers. With most mixed-gender collabs the usual act people tend to put up around the opposite gender (the kind of kayfabe people who watch vtubers DON’T like) is there. Which you can get from almost any fleshtuber.
So yes, during the brief time I watched Tempus, I also got annoyed by female collabs. And I know some anon is going to doubt it anyway, but no, I’m not into men.
