Will HoloEN be better? Not at all, it'll only get worse and we'll see more graduations following her, with the chance of the whole branch being axed. Will Hololive as a whole be better? Who knows, it's not like she ultra close to HoloJP, even with the Umisea members or Shion. They'll probably be sad but move on, and Cover won't feel much since she's barely a Top 10 member outside of her huge number of subs, and the same for the rest of the branch. As for her fanbase if she's gone you'll have a massive amount of smug people gloating about it, so it's your choice of cancer.

Disclaimer: I was a clipfaggot virtually the entire time I “watched” HoloEN. I did not start watching actual streams until I made the jump to small corpos. But from Myth’s debut, Gura was my least favorite one and the one I cared about the least.
Anyway, I know a lot of people like Gura, but there’s a difference between liking Gura and being a chumbud. And most chumbuds (at least, the ones /here/) are utter cancer.

I don’t know what it’ll do for hololive but it’ll be both the best and worst outcome possible for everyone else. decentralisation of noombers, everyone gets a boost as sort of a going away gift from goob. downside is the schizos that were once so content to never leave their bubble are now free roaming the industry looking for new things to parasitise.

Nothing will change for Hololive. Hell, even if someone like Pekora or Fubuki graduated, nothing will ultimately change. Some fans might leave, others will change to a new Holo oshi, but everything will stay the same. Just like it did when Coco left.

This alone shows the growth of HoloEN without Gura and Ina streaming. Gura was the gateway for HoloEN. Gura's two previous months still gained 50k new subscribers each. These tourists then spread out among the rest of HoloEN. Without Gura, it has nearly come to a complete standstill. No matter how much they stream.

Graduation streams are probably a very different story, though. I imagine plenty of dead subs would tune in, if only to take in the train wreck. Not of Gura, but of HoloEN. Sort of like Kizuna AI’s graduation. In a sort of “wow, I used to watch her a lot, what happened to her?” kind of way.
