Why do people, and women in particular have such disdain for GFE/parasocial relationships and contempt for those who enjoy them?

I'm pretty lukewarm on it, but the only thing that makes me not enjoy it is the way some of them look upon it is with such venom and disgust. Especially some popular vtubers who go on long rants about it. I just don't get it.

I don't mind them actually, because I assume they enjoy their hobby and they stay in their lane, and I can in some way relate to them as somebody who kind of likes GFE. I also enjoy vtubers who don't do it. The only thing I would say I'm against is people who attack those just because they enjoy something they don't personally like.
