Im gonna get a lot of hate for this one...i dont like Calli. At least not for Kiara. I understand that everyone projects their tsundere anime desires onto "takamori", and yes, in the beginning as a funny bit, they both played into rhat anime trope/cliche. But as time has gone on, its not really funny anymore. Mostly because of what Kiara just said (and has said before in a marshmallow collab stream with calli where she confronted her), which is that it goes beyond just the trope. Kiara only ever flirts to tease calli at best anymore. But she barely does anymore because calli got to the point where she just wasn't very nice to kiara in the most basic 'hey, we're friends' way. Calli very openly praises other hololive members, and like kiara says, acts extremely nice and loving and caring to literally everyone...but kiara. Now, idk whats wrong with people, but thats not cute or funny. Its exactly what kiara said it is: its painful. And my heart hurts for her because while most of what they do is an act because they are entertainers, kiara is one of the most sincere people in hololive and its clear that its legitimately makes her upset. Like, kiara at this point doesnt even want calli to act like her girlfriend. She just wants her to treat her nicely, like she does to everyone else. And i know what the responses are gonna be "stfu, calli does that cause she loves her the most" ...nah, bro. You dont treat people you love the most less then you treat everyone else. And i mnow what the 2nd response will be, which is "bro they want on a week long trip together. Obviously calli cares about her". Which is probably true. I dont think calli hates kiara. What im saying is that she doesnt treat her even on the same level as everyone else, which kiara expressed is what she wants, on more then one occasion. Now look, at the end of the day, we're just talking about vtubers here, so this shit isnt that serious. I just care about kiara and want to see her happy, and not see her hurting from someone who is supposed to be one of her best friends, treating everyone else better then her. Like i said, i know im gonna get pounced on by delusional takamori stans who really believe both of them are in, and/or headed to an actual romantic relationship. All i have to say to those people is that you are free to indulge in whatever makes you happy. But i dont have to agree with you. And yes, you are delusional if you think callis actions dont genuinely hurt kiaras feelings. And im sorry, but im KFP, not a deadbeat, so im going to take Kiaras side every time. Maybe that makes me biased. So be it, then.
