Then shit just continues from P2-2, you could argue it's how it's supposed to be because honestly the end of P2-1 was such a cheap shot. I don't even understand why the protag has to suffer in that failed timeline.
P1 and P2 are basically forgotten though.
P3 cast can enter the TV world from 4 so it's safe to assume P4/P5 cast could enter Tartarus/Dark Hour

"Lately" it got a bit tamer which is a shame. I think it holds a lot of potential but Devil Summoner 2 allegedly failed (dunno what's bad about it, haven't played it) so I doubt they'll be taking risks any time soon.
P4 and P5 story feels kinda rushed/overhauled in the last minute
