Apex also depends on several factors of how often you play it, how good are you, and are you good at making it fun regardless. Ame seldom plays it, isn't super great but isn't so balls awful that you get annoyed either, but generally is her same cuter-than-usual self in it so it's not a bad package all around.
For ones like Matsuri who basically broke themselves over the game she just isn't that entertaining playing it nor is she a particularly amazing player. Almost worse, she takes it so seriously and plays with squads all the time yet never really improves or is pro at it at all, a tryhard with nothing to show for it and that's kind of depressing.
