I don't think it's the only reason but i do think that growing up in japan, trying desperately to fit in and not be bullied have made Pika a people pleaser that cannot stand her ground.
She made a bunch of dumb decisions in the past but seriously, this must be the biggest one.
It's a shame because she is one of the few chuubas i even bother to follow nowadays and i think she would be way better off with a professional team managing her.

She told many times stories about japs treating her like shit because she have a difference appearance than everybody else and a few months back she fancied the idea of moving to the states because everyone treated her just like a normal person there.
