How to cope with VTuber burnout? I spend more than 16 hours a day watching streams and browsing here and /jp/ and reading through the archive for stuff I missed when I wasn’t around. Shit’s exhausting

I know touch grass is a meme, but unironically go for a walk for 30 minutes or so. It helps to clear your head, and it's good to get fresh air. If you have enough mobile data, you can even watch/listen to your oshi's stream while walking.

Do something else for a while. Read a book, go outside, take up a hobby, play a video game, whatever. Come back when the idea of watching a stream isn't 'exhausting' anymore.

The problem is that you seem to be trying to consume everything. I just actively watch my oshi and keep up on others via clips so I'm not totally out of the loop. Just pick out a favorite or two and stop trying to watch everything.

I stopped coming on 4chan altogether from february to start of may.

Take a break for 2 days to clear your head. Go cold turkey for 2 days, focus on anything else you enjoy, and you will feel much better when you return. You'll probably find it's mainly this place that makes you feel burnt out. I did a 2 days of completely ignoring everything to do with Hololive and as soon as I got over the inevitable FOMO I found it wasn't so bad. Then when I came back the burnout feeling had gone.

I suggest you just give it a try. If you have an oshi who tends to takes breaks for a few days, maybe start it during one of those.
