Estrogen doesn't stop you from losing your hair.
Androgenic alopecia is a side effect of testosterone, but taking estrogen wouldn't stop you from converting test to DHT.
Testosterone blockers would help more than estrogen, but that's still a really stupid way to treat the problem when there are specific medications designed to help mitigate hairloss.
Use hairgrowth drugs like topical minoxidil. Found in things like rogain.
You can also take an oral DHT inhibitor, which can have massive unwanted side effects like depression and impotence in some people.
Be careful with the oral drugs. If you think hair loss alone is bad, try hair loss coupled with perma limp dick and crippling depression all at once. That the main reason these drugs have a suicide warning on them.
It can be worth trying though. If you make it to 40 with a full head of hair, chances are, you're going to keep it.
If not, get the clippers and shave your head, then immediately go to the gym or people will think you're a cancer patient.
