>>46358814starbucks isn't bad, it's just mediocre and uninteresting because they focus on providing a consistent product at the expense of all other concerns. i have to begrudgingly admit that their more oddball drinks like the frappuccino are actually interesting recipes, but not something you would want to have every week. their coffee is all dark roasted. their lightest roast is a slightly lighter dark roast, and their espresso is a slightly darker dark roast, so there's not much flavor range in what they serve. but it is at least all generally competently bought and competently roasted arabica coffee, which is at least worth something.
