>>46865005to give you an honest serious answer: because Kiara is an old school idol traditionalist with a very specific idea of what an idol is, also she has self doubt issues where she's incapable of seeing herself as good enough to be an idol.
Personally this comment from Kiara always irked me because you can't look at things like the performances in holofes or how hard the girls work and rehearse and not think 'wow, in this moment they really are idols afterall'.
My personal philosophy on idols is that the whole point of them is that they are just ordinary everyday girls who, in the attempt to be like the idea of an idol and working hard, transcend into something greater in certain moments (like when they perform) and that this effort to achieve this itself is what makes them idols.
This is btw literally the idol philosphy behind AKB48 (that random girls can be pulled off the street and even if they are just mediocre girls by working hard and coming together they become idols) or the idea behind Love Live and its 'school idols.'
This is what Yagoo meant when he said he wanted Hololive to be 'like AKB48' and even though it's redditor meme bullshit, this is why the 'Yagoo's dream' thing is kind of true. Hololive really is a company that takes random flawed women, brings them together and makes them into 'something like idols' that have their shining moments. Kiara either doesn't seem to understand this or does but just doesn't accept it as to her 'true idols' are unreachable perfect women that don't do things like swear, stream videogames or act normal ever. I don't like Kiara's definition but I understand and empathize with why she thinks this.
